Blitzza™ is a stunning evergreen agapanthus.  Many large flowering white agapanthus available are seed grown with many having inferior variable umbels.  Like children, seed grown agapanthus all end up different due to the genetic backgrounds of the parents. The aim was to produce and select a large agapanthus with a full white flower head. 

Blitzza™ fitted these requirements and was put into micropropagation to produce uniform and stable flowers.  Within the genetic background of Blitzza™ one of the grandparents had variegated foliage and this trait, which is unstable and variable, can come out  in the foliage with some plants becoming partially or fully variegated.  

Blitzza™  flowers over summer with flower scapes to a height of about 1-1.2m.  Foliage height is about 45cm with a plant width of 50cm when fully grown.  Leaf width is to 3.5cm.
